The Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Center (AFDC), in cooperation with the Asia-Pacific Community of Practice on Managing for Development Results (APCoP), is organizing a Regional Forum on Journey to and from the Middle Income Status–The Challenges for Public Sector Managers from 22-25 April 2014 in Shanghai, P.R. China.
The purpose of the forum is to allow public sector managers to appreciate the range of challenges in the journey to and from the middle income status and perspectives on overcoming these. There will be presentations by public sector management experts and development practitioners, in addition to country presentations. A total of 50 senior government officials from the region are expected to attend.
